Celebrate Christmas in NWOK

November 21, 2025 - December 31, 2025

Be merry and bright this season in Northwest Oklahoma! Here is the current list of festivities coming up:

 

SATURDAY, NOV. 22

ALVA—Jumpstart that holiday shopping at Alva’s Twinkle and Tinsel: A Handmade Holiday Market on November 21-22 at Cherokee Strip Museum’s annex on the west side of town. Shop handmade gifts and holiday décor made by local artisans and sample free chili or soup and cinnamon rolls. Friday’s hours are 3-7:30 PM with meal starting at 5 PM, and Saturday’s hours are 9 AM to 3:30 PM with meal starting at 11 AM.

NORTH OF ENID—Red Bird Farm, 2 miles north of Enid on U.S. 81, will open for the holiday season and sell live pine, spruce, fir, and cedar Christmas trees starting November 22 from 10 AM to 5 PM.

  • Monday through Wednesday (November 24-26)—10 AM to 5 PM
  • Thanksgiving Day—CLOSED

SUNDAY, NOV. 23

POND CREEK—Pond Creek Community Partners is hosting a Holiday Bazaar on November 23 from 11 AM to 3 PM at Grant County Fairgrounds in Pond Creek. There will be plenty of gift ideas and stocking stuffers alongside homemade goodies. Admission is $3 for adults, free for kids. A soup lunch will be by donation.

 

FRIDAY-SATURDAY, NOV. 28-29

ENID—The Market Christmas Craft Show is slated for November 28-29 at Stride Bank Center in downtown Enid. Admission is free. The two-day event will include 155 booths featuring baked goods, wooden crafts, soaps, shirts, quilts, books, specialty items, and more. Friday’s event is 4-9 PM and Saturday’s event is 9 AM to 4 PM. Organizer Shelly Magallanez, who has been hosting these marketplace events for nearly 10 years, said she does door prize drawings every 30 minutes; every purchase made gets a ticket that goes into the hopper for gift baskets. There also will be an appearance by the Market Elf who secretly has $50 Market Cash that winners can spend with any of the participating vendors.

 

SATURDAY, NOV. 29

CLEO SPRINGS—Friends of Cleo will host a Holiday Market on November 29 from 9 AM to 3 PM at Cleo Springs Event Center, 114 S. Square. There will be vendors, a chili lunch, and cookie decorating for kids. Call Ashlee Spradlin at (580) 515-1847 to book booth space.

WAYNOKA—Waynoka Chamber of Commerce presents Hometown Holiday on November 29 in downtown Waynoka. Day includes candy cane scavenger hunt starting at 2 PM, gingerbread house competition at 3:30 PM, holiday craft station on the half hour, story time with Mrs. Claus on the hour, photo ops with the Grinch and Santa’s elves, holiday music and caroling, chicken noodle supper at 5 PM, the lighted Christmas parade at 6 PM followed by visits with Santa and the tree lighting, and concluding with fireworks.

 

MONDAY, DEC. 1

GUYMON—Guymon’s Home of the Holidays flips the switch to light Sunset Lake Park at dusk on December 1. Thousands of lights will be up through New Year’s Eve. Other festivities from 5-8 PM that night include music, food trucks, train rides, and other holiday cheer.

 

THURSDAY, DEC. 4

LAVERNE—Laverne Chamber of Commerce presents White Christmas, a holiday celebration in downtown Laverne, on December 4 from 5 to 7:30 PM. The evening includes photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, children’s activities, storytime with Santa’s elves, and a Christmas concert.

 

FRIDAY, DEC. 5

GOODWELL—Join the town of Goodwell for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting on December 5 at the city park on Main Street at 5 PM. The evening will include Santa Claus visiting with kiddos, cookies and cocoa, hay rides, and Christmas caroling. TK Ranch Photography will make available professional photos with Santa Claus.

WAUKOMIS—The Waukomis Welcomes Christmas celebration kicks off December 5 with Christmas dinner at Mo’s Place in downtown Waukomis at 5 PM. There also will be horse-drawn carriage rides, visits by Santa and Mrs. Claus plus the Grinch, kids’ activities, and then a drone show at 8 PM. The next day on December 6 is a full schedule including breakfast at Mo’s Place at 7 AM, pictures with Santa at Buffalo Point Retreat beginning at 10 AM, live entertainment in the chapel, a live nativity, and food trucks. SATURDAY, DEC. 6

ALVA—Northwest Domestic Crisis Services presents the Reindeer Doggie Dash on December 6 starting at 8:30 AM in the Woods County Courthouse parking lot in downtown Alva. Registration is $25 and includes shirt for the human and bandana for the pet. Proceeds benefit the crisis center which services victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Woods County.

BUFFALO—Mingle Jingle Days in Buffalo are happening now through December 6, when Santa comes to town at 1 PM at Vintage Longhorn on U.S. 183. Across the way and down Turner Street will be vendors, train rides, face painting, photo booth, build your own Christmas ornament, make a gingerbread house, and more. Tic tac toe drawings begin at 4 PM at Buffalo Theatre and the ugly Christmas sweater contest. Starting at 5:30 PM are the free hot dog feed and make your own smores.

CANTON—Canton Lake’s Lake of Lights, a drive-thru light display, runs nightly from 6-9 PM December 6-28 at Canadian B Campground, 64052 N. 2466 Road.

CLEO SPRINGS—Santa comes to town, to Cleo Springs that is, at 3 PM on December 6 to the fire station.

FAIRVIEW—Fairview Chamber of Commerce hosts Jingle Mingle on December 6 in downtown Fairview. Day includes Christmas craft show, photos with Santa, food trucks, kiddos’ activities, Mistletoe Market, the parade of lights at 6 PM, and a drone show at 7:30 PM presented by OneOK. That evening also kicks off the Christmas Light Display Cruise, which features participating homes in Fairview that will be lit up for the holidays for folks to cruise by between December 6-20 and vote at the Chamber for best display.

WOODWARD—Take a stroll or drive through Crystal Beach Park, 305 Temple Houston Drive, Woodward. Crystal Christmas is open every night through New Year’s Eve from 6-10 PM for visitors to see millions of lights and hundreds of displays. Every Friday and Saturday in the park enjoy Kiwanis train rides at the Bentec Crystal Square Train Station from 6-8 PM for $1 per person. Every Saturday there are free horse-drawn carriage rides through the park from 6-8 PM and visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus too. SUNDAY, DEC. 7

ARNETT—Celebrate Christmas on the Square in downtown Arnett on December 7. Evening includes come-and-go supper at Arnett Fire House starting at 6 PM, hot chocolate, cider and cookies, make your own reindeer food bar, gingerbread house contest at the Kiwanis Building, lighting the Square, visiting with Santa, and shopping along the Square equals door prize drawing entries from Arnett Mercantile, Campbell’s Bake and Brew, and Cross Canadian Boutique.

POND CREEK—Pond Creek Community Partners present the town’s Christmas parade through downtown Pond Creek on December 7. Christmas lights parade is 6 PM with tree lighting to follow. Several downtown businesses will be open for holiday shopping.

WOODWARD—Woodward Arts Theatre’s annual Christmas Tour of Homes is slated for December 7. Mingle, jingle, and maps begins at 1:30 PM at Josie Adams Centre, 816 Main, Woodward. Tour will be 2-5 PM and tickets are $25.

 

MONDAY, DEC. 8

BOISE CITY—Cimarron County Chamber of Commerce’s Light Parade themed “Making Spirits Bright” is slated for December 8 at 6 PM in Boise City. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the Chamber’s caboose on the east side of the roundabout. Remember loved ones with an ornament at the gazebo for Grandpa’s Tree. St. Paul’s is hosting cocoa and cookies with proceeds benefitting the ministerial alliance and food pantry and chili frito pie with proceeds benefitting Friends of the Girl Scouts.

 

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 10

CHEROKEE—Cherokee Main Street will host the annual Christmas Parade on December 10 starting at 7 PM in downtown Cherokee, followed by Christmas tree lighting. For more details at cherokeemainstreet.org.

SHATTUCK—Shattuck Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Christmas Parade on December 10 starting at 6 PM at the north end of Main Street (U.S. 283) through downtown Shattuck. Santa will visit with the kiddos after the parade at Shattuck High School.

 

THURSDAY, DEC. 11

HOOKER—Hooker Chamber of Commerce will host a Christmas parade on December 11 at 6 PM. Route starts at Bulldog Stadium, down Main and Glaydas, ending at Swem. Prior to the parade is the Cookie Crawl from 4-6 PM and Santa at the library.

 

SATURDAY, DEC. 13

ALINE—Santa is coming to town, downtown Aline that is, on December 13 at 10:30 AM.

ARNETT—Arnett Methodist Women will host the Last-Minute Christmas Shoppe on December 13 from 9 AM to 4 PM at Arnett Methodist Church’s activity center at 221 S. Washington, Arnett. This annual vendor and craft show features handmade products and specialty items by local artisans as well as baked goods, soups and stews.

ENID—Michael Martin Murphey’s Cowboy Christmas Ball returns to Enid’s Chisholm Trail Expo Center on December 13. Special guest is Enid’s own fiddler Kyle Dillingham and Peter Markes. Book seats at chisholmtrailexpo.com.

GUYMON—Nutcracker Market will be held December 13-14 at Texas County Activity Center in Guymon. Shop for arts and crafts, festive gifts, and food.

WAYNOKA—Christmas Night at the Museum II, sponsored by Waynoka Historical Society, is December 13. Evening includes dinner and dessert auction to benefit Waynoka’s Air-Rail Museum inside the historical Harvey House. FRIDAY-SUNDAY, DEC. 19-21

ENID—Enid First Church of the Nazarene will host its 33rd annual Living Drive-Thru Nativity, a simple visual reenactment of the reason behind the Christmas season: the birth of Jesus the Nazarene. Between 6:30-8:30 p.m. Dec. 19-21, guests will drive through a pathway of lights and witness first-hand the story of the first Christmas as portrayed by over 50 actors and support staff in 10 different scenes through music, Scripture reading, and live animals. Not far from the intersection of Randolph and Cleveland, the church is located at 324 N. Cleveland.

 

SATURDAY, DEC. 20

COVINGTON—American Legion Post 190 in Covington will host the Town Christmas Party on Saturday (December 20) from 5 to 7 PM at Covington Fire Station. They will be giving away 15 turkeys, prizes, candy and other sweets, and Santa will be visiting.

GARBER—Garber Community Improvement Association will host the annual Christmas Parade on December 20 in downtown Garber starting at 6 PM.
