Vici Stampede Rodeo, hosted by Vici Rodeo Club, is slated for May 29-31. Rodeo events include bareback riding, ranch bronc riding, steer wrestling, breakaway roping, team roping, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, tie down roping, and barrel racing.
“Yellowstone” actor Forrie J. Smith known as “Lloyd” in the TV show will appear Friday night at the rodeo then serve as the rodeo parade grand marshal on Saturday at 4:30 PM, followed by a meet and greet in the rodeo arena until rodeo begins. The bareback winner gets a buckle donated by Smith.
Weekend also includes donkey riding for kiddos 12 and younger and cow patty bingo for chance to win black powder gun. Saturday night dance starting at 10 PM with Big D and the Boys performing; $10 per person or $15 per couple.
Thursday, May 29: Slack at 7 PM, admission is free
Friday, May 30: Rodeo starts at 7 PM, admission is $10
Saturday, May 31: Rodeo starts at 7 PM, admission is $10
