SUMMARY:Nardin Heritage Day
DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Nardin Heritage Day is Saturday\, May 23\, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in downtown Nardin. Admission to the event and museum tours are free. Sales of food and drink or other purchases are cash only\, so be sure to stop by an ATM before arriving. \nThis year’s celebration will be the 49th time Nardin has hosted visitors. Many festivities are planned from a gunfighter show by Guthrie Gunfighters and blacksmith demonstrations to watching a Model T being put together and running in 10 minutes. One of Crow’s sons is in a band called North of 50 that will be providing the western music. There will be plenty of kid-friendly fun including inflatables\, Chester the Clown\, an ice cream shoppe\, and turtle races. \nThe parade starts at 10:30 a.m.; visitors will see antique cars and trucks\, tractors\, horse-drawn vehicles\, mule teams\, bikes\, horse riders\, and floats. \nFollowing the gunfight\, around 11:30 a.m.\, is the lunch feed at the pecan grove that Crow’s dad planted on the west side of Main Street with hamburgers\, polish sausage\, hot dogs and all the trimmings\, homemade pies\, and more for a fee. \nThe general store will be open as well as the saloon\, which will be dispensing ice-cold sarsaparilla. Nardin’s Heritage House will be open too. VIP tickets are $85 which include beer tokens with private bartender and front stage seating; VIP tables are $300 and include 4 VIP tickets plus a personal table. \nOriginating from Zacatecas\, Mexico\, Conjunto Nube is a Norteño band with a distinctive style of accordion and saxophone\, delighting fans for nearly 15 years. Known for their energetic performances\, they have produced numerous albums that have resonated both in Mexico and the United States. Some of their most notable hits include “El Mamut”\, “Bachata rosa”\, and “Hoja en blanco”. \n— \nThe Hype will bring some 80s rock to the stage on Saturday\, July 26. Doors open at 6:30 PM\, concert starts at 8 PM. General admission tickets are $30. VIP tickets are $85 which include beer tokens with private bartender and front stage seating; VIP tables are $300 and include 4 VIP tickets plus a personal table. \nThis 80s cover band performs and dresses the part of major artists such as Motley Crue\, Def Leppard\, Poison\, Bon Jovi\, and Aerosmith. \n— \nThe Tyler Wilhelm Band will open for Cody Canada and the Departed on Saturday\, September 6\, at the conclusion of the Woodward County Free Fair. Doors open at 6:30 pm\, concert starts at 7:30 PM with the headliner at 9 PM. General admission tickets are $30. VIP tickets are already sold out. \nThese Red Dirt bands are a little bit of country and a little bit of rock with a whole lot of attitude. Cody Canada\, the former lead vocalist and guitarist for Cross Canadian Ragweed\, formed the Departed in 2011. Tyler Wilhelm is a gritty singer-songwriter from Elk City.
