DESCRIPTION:Woodward County Event Center and Fairgrounds is hosting a Beat the Heat Summer Concert Series this summer\, featuring three styles of music. The venue is located at 105A Temple Houston Drive\, on the southeast side of Woodward. Doors open at 6:30 PM\, concert starts at 7:30 PM with the headliner at 9 PM. General admission tickets are $40. VIP tickets are $85 which include beer tokens with private bartender and front stage seating; VIP tables are $300 and include 4 VIP tickets plus a personal table. \nOriginating from Zacatecas\, Mexico\, Conjunto Nube is a Norteño band with a distinctive style of accordion and saxophone\, delighting fans for nearly 15 years. Known for their energetic performances\, they have produced numerous albums that have resonated both in Mexico and the United States. Some of their most notable hits include “El Mamut”\, “Bachata rosa”\, and “Hoja en blanco”. \n— \nThe Hype will bring some 80s rock to the stage on Saturday\, July 26. Doors open at 6:30 PM\, concert starts at 8 PM. General admission tickets are $30. VIP tickets are $85 which include beer tokens with private bartender and front stage seating; VIP tables are $300 and include 4 VIP tickets plus a personal table. \nThis 80s cover band performs and dresses the part of major artists such as Motley Crue\, Def Leppard\, Poison\, Bon Jovi\, and Aerosmith. \n— \nThe Tyler Wilhelm Band will open for Cody Canada and the Departed on Saturday\, September 6\, at the conclusion of the Woodward County Free Fair. Doors open at 6:30 pm\, concert starts at 7:30 PM with the headliner at 9 PM. General admission tickets are $30. VIP tickets are already sold out. \nThese Red Dirt bands are a little bit of country and a little bit of rock with a whole lot of attitude. Cody Canada\, the former lead vocalist and guitarist for Cross Canadian Ragweed\, formed the Departed in 2011. Tyler Wilhelm is a gritty singer-songwriter from Elk City.

DESCRIPTION:NWOKBuzz’s It’s Fall Y’all Agritour in Northwest Oklahoma has begun! Stop by these farms this fall: Red Bird Farm north of Enid\, DaZe in a MaZe east of Marshall\, and Kenny Farms east of Woodward. \n \n  \nRED BIRD FARM\nRed Bird Farm\, north of Enid 2 miles on U.S. 81\, is hosting its annual fall marketplace with Visit Enid Saturday\, September 27\, from 9 AM to 4 PM. Visitors will be able to shop 70-plus vendors and the barn store\, eat from multiple food trucks\, check out the petting zoo\, or grab pumpkins from the patch.\n—\nAdmission is free with a $5 parking pass per vehicle\, cash only. There will also be Fall Fun Zone tickets—$10 per child and $5 per adult—available for access to the hayrides\, corn maze\, hay maze\, kiddie playland\, and spooky forest. Children ages 2 and younger can get in the Fall Fun Zone for free with paid adult admission.\n—\nVisitors should note there will be no parking on the farm or on the highway during Harvest Market like last year; everyone will be directed to park north of the farm in a designated field with parking attendants. Thanks to P&K Equipment\, all visitors will be transported from the off-site parking area to the farm via tractors\, wagons\, and gators.\n—\nAnyone buying a pumpkin will be able to pick up their purchase at the pumpkin station located in the off-site parking area on their way out\, so they don’t have to lug the pumpkin(s) around while at the farm.\n—\nEvery weekend in October (October 4 through November 1)\, Red Bird Farm invites the family to experience Fall on the Farm; admission is free as well as free parking on the farm.
