National Vietnam War Veterans Day

Did you know that Enid is home to Oklahoma’s official Vietnam War Monument? Located on the grounds of Woodring Wall of Honor at Enid Woodring Regional Airport just off U.S. 412 on 66th Street is an 80% scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C. This replica traveled the country with the American Veterans Traveling Tribute before being permanently retired to Enid. Over 990 Oklahoma names are on this wall.
March 29 is National Vietnam War Veterans Day to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War and its veterans whom did not receive the homecoming they deserved back then. To honor them, Woodring Wall of Honor will host a ceremony at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall.
