NWOK Easter Egg Hunts

Celebrate the Easter holiday with egg hunts and more this season throughout Northwest Oklahoma:

 

Saturday, April 12

CHESTER—The rural community of Chester will host its Spring Festival on Saturday, April 12, downtown. Day includes a vendor show, bake sale, concession stand, putt putt golf, train rides, bounce house, and peddle tractors from 9 AM to 4 PM with the egg hunt at noon.

GOODWELL—Goodwell Community Easter Egg Hunt is Saturday, April 12, at 11 AM. Location around Goodwell depends on age group: 3 and under at Town Hall, 4-7 at Hill Toppers Center, and 8-12 at OPSU Library.

 

Sunday, April 13

HUNTER—Hunter United Methodist Church is hosting Hunter’s Easter Egg Hunt following its Sunday service on Sunday, April 13, at 10:30 AM. Open to all.

ARNETT—Arnett Kiwanis present Easter Egg Hunt at 2:30 PM on Sunday, April 13, at Arnett Park.

 

Wednesday, April 16

BEAVER—Easter Celebration Community Meal and Egg Hunt hosted by First Baptist Church, Beaver, at the Beaver County Fairgrounds is Wednesday, April 16. Doors open at 5 PM with dinner at 5:30 PM and egg hunt at 6:30 PM. Open to the whole family, admission is free.

SHATTUCK—Shattuck’s Easter Egg Hunt, presented by Shattuck Chamber of Commerce, begins at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, April 16 at Shattuck City Park. Open to children ages 11 and younger, the Easter bunny will be on site for the evening.

 

Thursday, April 17

ALVA—Easter bunny will meet with kiddos on Thursday, April 17, from 2:30-4 PM at Alva State Bank. Northwestern Oklahoma State University will host an Easter-themed carnival starting at 5:30 PM on campus.

CANTON—Canton Child Study Club is hosting Easter Egg Hunt on Thursday, April 17, at 6 PM next to the Ag Barn at Canton Soccer Fields.

 

Friday, April 18

MEDFORD—Moonlight Eggstravaganza will be held Friday night, April 18, for kiddos ages 6-12 at Medford’s Lions Club Park starting at DARK.

 

Saturday, April 19

WAYNOKA—Waynoka 4-H Club is hosting the Community Egg Hunt at Waynoka’s Walking Trail at Broadway and Cedar intersection on Saturday, April 19. Have breakfast with the Easter bunny at 9 AM followed by the egg hunt for kiddos through fourth grade at 10 AM.

MEDFORD—Medford Easter Egg Hunt will be Saturday, April 19, at 10 AM for kiddos up to 10 years old at Medford’s Lions Club Park.

FAIRVIEW—Major County Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for Saturday, April 19, at 10 AM at the Major County Historical Society in Fairview. Hosted by Major County Sheriff’s Office, open to all and the Easter bunny will be there for photos.

CARMEN—Carmen Easter Egg Hunt is slated for Saturday, April 19, at 10 AM for kiddos up to 12 years old at Carmen Park. The Easter bunny is expected to appear.

ALVA—Alva Easter Egg Hunt will be Saturday, April 19, at 10 AM on the Woods County Courthouse Lawn on the downtown square. Each age group reports to a different section: Newborn to age 4, northeast corner; ages 5-6, southeast corner; 1st-3rd graders, southwest corner; 4th-6th graders, northwest corner; any age special needs, post office lawn. Easter bunny will be on hand and the egg drop happens at 10:30 AM on the south side. Bradt’s Menagerie, three miles west of town, will host another Easter Egg Hunt at 2 PM for those who pay admission to the petting zoo.

LAHOMA—Town of Lahoma Easter Egg Hunt is set for Saturday, April 19, at 11 AM at Lahoma Community Park. First Baptist Church, Lahoma, will host a hot dog lunch for everyone after the egg hunt.

COVINGTON—Covington Community Egg Hunt is set for Saturday, April 19, at 1 PM in Lions Club Park, Covington. Sponsored by local churches and businesses, the event is open to kiddos through age 12.

BUFFALO—Buffalo Chamber of Commerce is hosting its Easter Egg Hunt at Buffalo Public Schools’ football field on Saturday, April 19, at 2 PM. The egg hunt is for kiddos up to 10 years old.

LONGDALE—Prior to the race, Longdale Speedway will host an Easter Eggstravaganza with an egg hunt and candy drop on Saturday, April 19. Pits open at 5 PM, with grandstands opening at 6 PM. Hot laps begin at 7 PM with winged sprint cars racing at 7:30 PM.
